Thumbs Up EP-5S for the Fuji X100s and X100
Available in Silver and Black.
For an introduction to our Thumbs Up grips and suggestions as to which model will suit you, see Thumbs Up - help. We have not yet added information about the TU-EP-5S at the Help section, but that will be forthcoming soon.
Thumbs Up EP-5S is our first design dedicated to the FujiFilm X100 and now the X-100s camera.
Thumbs Up EP-5S has a new ergonomic profile (hence the "EP" designation). This model is our 5th EP version, but and is intended for use on the X100 or X100s cameras. The thumb rest is angled at 15 degrees, and this shape helps distribute the pressure from your thumb more uniformly. This refinement allows you to hold your camera with less gripping pressure, yet with great comfort and stability. By reducing the gripping pressure, you will reduce camera shake, making hand held images with slower shutter speeds possible.

Thumbs Up EP-5S is CNC machined, hand polsihed and painted with 2 coats of enamel and baked to maximize adhesion. A silicone rubber insert specifically designed provides a cushion between the camera body and your Thumbs Up EP-5S.
Thumbs Up has been positively reviewed in Viewfinder(the journal of the Leica Historical Society of America) and Leica Fotografie International. Phil Askey of dpreview.com in his Leica M9 Hands-on Preview was also very impressed with Thumbs Up. The Luminous Landscape's Michael Reichmann describes Thumbs Up as "a purchase you won't regret for a second" in An M9 in Paris – A Field Review, and as "an invaluable and essential tool" on SteveHuff Photo. Our customers have also been enthusiastic (see our feedback page and RichCutler.co.uk).
The Thumbs Up EP-5S is produced in two colors: silver or black.
